Community In Action

It’s always been about the communities we serve — and we’ll never forget that.

Dort Financial Credit Union’s commitment to our community is unwavering. Our community benefit and philanthropy efforts grew as we proudly supported over 200 organizations. Our participation increased with large and small nonprofit organizations, including Whaley Children’s Center, the United Way of Genesee & Shiawassee Counties, the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, the Ennis Center, Hurley Children’s Hospital, the YMCA of Greater Flint, Boys and Girls Club of Greater Flint, and the Old Newsboys. As champions of our community, we continued our involvement with the Flint Firebirds and became the presenting sponsor of the Flint City Bucks USL2 Soccer team. We congratulate the FC Bucks who won the 2019 USL2 League National Championship in their inaugural season at Atwood Stadium! Here are some of the organizations we supported in 2019:
